Die Zukunft der Fotografie: In "squares" von Konstantin Weber treiben selbst programmierte oder gefundene KI basierte Programme den Transformationsprozess an und ignorieren das eigentliche fotografische Motiv. Dieses postfotografische Handeln versteht sich als Signifikationsprozess, der die Fotografie als leeres Gefäß begreift, das Bildinhalte zusammenfasst und sie sich selbst erzeugen lässt. Der Fotograf ist Lehrer und Beobachter, wählt aus, interveniert, korrigiert, erschafft aber im herkömmlichen Sinne keine eigenen Bildprodukte mehr.
The future of photography: In Konstantin Weber’s squares, selfprogrammed or found AI based programs control the transformation process while ignoring the photographic motif itself. This phenomenon of the postphotographic age is a process of signification in which photography serves as an empty vessel that condenses subject matter and is able to create it itself. In this system, photographers are teachers and observers who select, intervene, and correct, but no longer produce works in the conventional sense.
